People see the recovery.
They don’t see the preparation.
When people tell me, “You’re in great shape,” they’re usually looking at where I am today.
What they don’t see are the nine months that came before.
At 45, I chose to keep moving throughout my pregnancy—not to “stay fit,” but to support my body through one of the biggest transformations it would ever experience.
Every Pilates session was an investment.
An investment in strength.
In mobility.
In resilience.
In recovery.
After more than 20 years of teaching Pilates, one thing continues to be true:
The body remembers consistency. Not perfection.
I wasn’t exercising for pregnancy.
I was preparing for birth, recovery, and the years beyond.
Every pregnancy is different, and every postpartum journey is unique. But when movement is appropriate for you, it can become one of the greatest gifts you give yourself—not because it promises a certain outcome, but because it helps support your body through every stage of the journey.
If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or simply looking to feel stronger and more connected to your body, I’d love to help you discover what intentional movement can look like for you.
What is one small thing you’re doing today that your future self will thank you for?

This is what 7 months postpartum looks like.
Seven months ago, my body had a very different job to do.
These days, I’m enjoying getting my heart rate up again, lifting, squatting, jumping, and finding little moments to move—even if that means my little workout buddy is right beside me in the studio. ❤️
But this didn’t happen overnight.
As a Pilates instructor, I know that real progress isn’t about rushing back to where you were. It’s about building a strong foundation, listening to your body, and respecting each stage of the journey.
The strength I’m feeling today started with breath, gentle movement, reconnecting with my core, and accepting that healing takes time.
Progress isn’t one big leap. It’s the small choices you make over and over again.
Whether you’re newly postpartum, returning after an injury, or simply trying to move your body again, remember that every stage has value. Trust the process, celebrate the little wins, and let your body tell you when it’s ready for the next step.
This is my journey. Yours will look different, and that’s exactly how it should be. 🤍
