The TORRE DEGLI ASINELLI, with the nearby Torre Garisenda, represent the Bologna's commonly recognised symbols and are strategically placed at the entry point in the city.
The Asinelli Tower was built between 1109 and 1119 by the family bearing the same name.
It measures 97.20 metres in height and has an overhang of 2.23 metres.

Entry is free for Card PLUS and Card EASY holders.

And so this year the day before "Run Tune Up", on Saturday 7th September, we are organizing three Free running tours lasting about an hour each for about 7.5 km, all within the historic center. As always there are stops during which, in addition to catching your breath, you can gaze upon monuments, appreciate hidden corners throughout the city and let your curiosity run wild.

Tours depart from Piazza Maggiore at 8.00, 10.00 and 12.00.

Anche quest'anno il giorno precedente alla Run Tune Up, sabato 7 settembre, abbiamo organizzato tre tour GRATUITI della durata di un'ora circa che si snoderanno per 7,5 km. all'interno del centro storico. Come sempre sono previste fermate durante le quali, oltre a riprendere fiato, si potranno ammirare monumenti, apprezzare angoli nascosti e apprendere curiosità.
I tour partiranno da Piazza Maggiore alle 8.00 a.m, alle 10.00 a.m. e alle 12.00 a.m. e sono prenotabili scrivendo alla mail [email protected].
