Bergamo Scuba Angels

Once again, the Bergamo Scuba Angels Rescue Team took to the skies to ensure safety at the 73rd edition of the Pavia–Venice race. Shown in the photo is the team of Helicopter Rescue Swimmers, operating from the three helicopters in the background as they followed the competitors and provided rescue coverage throughout the entire race.

Intensive training weekend for the Rescue Team, to ensure readiness for the 2026 season

We are proud to have been chosen as the Official Rescue Team for the speed record set today by the XCAT Kuwait 17 crew, which took place in Kuwait on 21 November. The rescue operation was carried out in collaboration with the helicopter unit of the Kuwait Police, using an Airbus AS365 (Dauphin) helicopter. Images from the joint training session highlight the key moments of the deployment and recovery of BSA air rescue personnel by winch. We would like to thank the crew of the Police helicopter unit for their professionalism, cooperation and... friendly approach.

We enjoyed participating in the E1 rescue drill in Miami with the Miami Fire Department. Their professionalism stood out, and it was valuable to share methods and experiences. We also appreciated their friendship and kind availability to cooperate.

Great success of CMAS Helidiver Course (winter edition) that was held on 8-9 February in Bergamo. Congratulations to the SPLASH Rescue Team for achieving the certification and thank you for attending the course. The team demonstrated professionalism and friendliness. We hope this course marks the beginning of a productive cooperation focused on safety in the powerboat sector.
