IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Our beginners group trainings will be moved from Tuesdays (Þriðjudagar) to Thursdays (Fimmtudagar). The time will remain the same 15:30-16:30. We hope this change does not cause much disruption.

Our training sessions for beginners will be Mondays and Thursdays from 15:30 to 16:30. Same as last year.

Fréttabréf Umf. Selfoss – September Borðtennisdeildin hefur verið að undirbúa nýtt tímabil. Deildin hélt æfingadag með Garpi frá Laugalandi, Leikmaður frá Þýskalandi kom í heimsókn og Diego Pinero, þjálfari á Hellu kom í heimsókn til deildarinnar.

We will participate in the Frístundamessa / Leisure Fair at the Kappahl Höll (Tryggvagata 25) this Saturday! Pay us a visit and try a bit of table tennis. More information on the link. Looking forward to seeing you all 🏓🥳

Frístundamessa Árborgar laugardaginn 5. september Frístundamessa Árborgar verður haldin í Kappahl-höllinni laugardaginn 5. september kl. 10:00–12:00. Þar gefst börnum, ungmennum og fjölskyldum þeirra tækifæri til að kynna sér fjölbreytt íþrótta-, tómstunda- og æskulýðsstarf sem er í boði í sveitarfélaginu.

Here are the two interviews that the magazine Bragi from UMF Selfoss did to our coaches and players Rubén and Anton, and the summary of what happened table tennis wise in Selfoss. 🏓 We are very grateful to Bragi and UMF Selfoss for putting table tennis in the spotlight. 🤩

We will open our registration for the upcoming winter tomorrow! Our training days will be the same for the advanced group. For our beginners, we will swap Thursdays for Tuesdays. The training times will be the same for both groups as last year. Our first official training day will be September 2nd.

We had an awesome day yesterday at the stelpufjör in Stekkjaskóli 🏓♀️

Our girls from Selfoss got to enjoy a fabulous time with other girls from Garpur, KR and Gnúpverjar. We missed some of the girls from the area but hopefully they'll be able to attend next time 🤞🏼

After intense training, the group went to ísbúð Huppa which was the favourite part of the day. 🍦🍨

A weekend with a lot of sweet and a bit of sour for the table tennis team in Selfoss.

Holger and Rubén became Íslandsmeistarar in the 60+ and 40+ categories respectively. Holger also won his doubles category in partnership with Gummi from KR. Unfortunately Rubén and Stebbi couldn't defend the title of doubles but they put up a good fight against Michal and Piotr.

In the Lokamót, Anton showed a great display of quality table tennis but it wasn't enough to win his quarter-finals match.
