It is founded with the passion of making the world's best flaky sea salt. With access to some of the cleanest seawater imaginable which is the raw material used for making sea salt it is located in the nortwestern part of Iceland.

We went foraging around our saltworks in Reykjanes earlier this summer. Did you know Blálilja tastes like oysters. And if you pickle seaweed bulbs they are similar to kapers?

On August 12, a total solar eclipse crosses Iceland.

Almyrkvi á sólu.

We wanted to mark it. In the way we know how.

Eclipse Salt combines our Flaky Sea Salt and Lava Salt. Two salts, one jar. Light meeting dark. A small mirror of a rare sky.
