Do you dream of representing Iceland on Europe's biggest stage? We're happy to announce that applications are now OPEN for the Team Iceland squad tryouts for the 2027 Euro Cup in Riccione, Italy 🇮🇸✨🇮🇹
The tryouts will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland (precise location TBD) hosted by our friends Roller Derby Iceland on October 10th and 11th (which, incidentally, means that if you're coming over from the Americas for WFTDA Champs it's the perfect pit stop 👀) and we can't wait to see all of you soon! 🗻💥👀

Now that there's been almost a year since our great Austrian adventure we're gearing up to start prep for the next chapter of our saga; The Eurocup in Italy 2027 🛼🏆💪

What a whirlwind World Cup it was! Not everyone would be proud to rank 39 of 48, but for a team from a tiny country in the middle of the Atlantic, we're incredibly proud. Thank you to everyone who put their blood, sweat (omg, so much sweat), and tears into making the event all that it was. To the friends new and old, the lessons learned, and each single hard-fought point we earned. Thank you from every single one of us silly geese.

In only three games, our jammers 47 Vicious () and 112 Harpattack () were among the top scorers of all RDWC. Of course they couldn't have done it without the rest of the team behind them, but that's not what this graph is about. We're so so proud of you. 💪
