Kleifarvatn diving and snorkelling tours are available from 15th of April to 31st of September. Dry Suit Specialty courses are available all year. Is There Life in Silfra? Top 3 Things You'll See Snorkeling & Diving 🇮🇸

Description:
People say Silfra is just lava rocks and clear water (between tectonic plates!). But is there other life in Silfra? Here are the top 3 living things we can spot while diving or snorkeling Silfra, Þingvellir National Park:
👌 Arctic char (Bleikja) — rare and elusive, a lucky sighting if you get one.
👌 "Troll hair" algae — the neon-green strands found throughout the fissure.
👌 Loons — a spring & summer-only sighting, and if you're lucky you'll see one dive all the way to the bottom of Silfra for food.

While you might need to be very lucky to see this, and your chances are higher if you're diving - there is actually more life here than people expect. Come see it for yourself.
