Andhra U-15 Women Dominate League Stage, March into Quarter Finals

The Andhra U-15 Women’s team delivered a flawless league-stage performance, winning 5 out of 5 matches, topping the table, and finishing with the best net run rate in the country. Their campaign was highlighted by a historic 400+ run margin victory, underlining their dominance.

Batting performances were led by Skipper Deeksha (321 runs, HS 128), Pushpitha (319 runs, including a record-breaking 205), and Greeshma (220 runs in 4 innings, HS 100).

In bowling, debutant N. Sana, a rare left-arm leg spinner (chinaman), emerged as a standout performer, claiming 11 wickets in 5 innings at an economy of 3.63. Sana finished as the highest wicket-taker for Andhra and 3rd highest in the country, producing match-winning spells throughout the league. Rishika Krishnan supported well with 8 wickets.

Special appreciation goes to Head Coach S. Kavitha (BCCI Level-2) for guiding the team with clarity and discipline, and to the support staff for their outstanding on- and off-field contributions.

The team now heads to the Quarter Finals in Pondicherry from the 16th.
