Kicking off our 2025 coaching season with inspiration!
Our regular coaching sessions for 2025 began on 1st August, and last week we were honoured to welcome a very special guest — Mr. Jyotsnil Singh.

During this visit, he shared inspiring words with our young, budding cricketers. Moments like these ignite passion and fuel dreams!

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Aditya Yadav, our academy cricketer, has been honored as the Best Batsman of the 2024-25 Late Shri Mamasaheb Ghorpade U-19 BCA Tournament! 🏏🎉

With a stellar total of 595 runs in just 9 innings, Aditya’s remarkable performance was celebrated at the prize distribution ceremony held at the SGSA ground after the final match.

Congratulations, Aditya! 🏆👏 Your hard work and talent continue to inspire. Keep making us proud! 💪✨

In an exhilarating friendly match between Toronto Lumberjacks CC (Canada) and SGSA, the Lumberjacks batted first and set a competitive total of 212 runs in their allotted 40 overs. SGSA faced early setbacks in their chase, struggling at 75/6 in 17.2 overs.

However, a remarkable rescue effort led by Jay Patel, who scored an unbeaten 80 off 85 balls, including 11 fours and 1 six, and Vishvesh Oza, who contributed a quickfire 48 off 32 balls with 7 boundaries, turned the game around. The duo built a crucial 50+ partnership, stabilizing the innings.

SGSA eventually clinched victory by 2 wickets, reaching 216/8 in just 35 overs, with five overs to spare, marking a thrilling comeback performance.

Strong men rise when the storm is at its fiercest. Against all odds, Aditya Yadav and Dhruval Rabari of Sangramsinh Gaekwad Sports Academy turned the tide with a remarkable 261-run partnership in the U-19 Late Mamasaheb Ghorpade Tournament. From 37/3 to building a foundation of hope—this is the spirit of champions!

A special shoutout to SGSA Academy coach Ms. Bhavana Rajpurohit, who also served as the Team Manager for the BCA U-15 Girls during the Reliance G-1 Girls U-15 Tournament. Her leadership and support played a vital role in guiding the team to success. 🙌

Congratulations to Ms. Dravya Parikh, our talented pace bowler, who was selected in the BCA U-15 Girls Team at the Reliance G-1 Girls U-15 One Day Tournament held from 26th to 30th October 2024 in Ahmedabad! Dravya also showcased her skills in practice matches from the 18th to 24th of October in Pune. With her exceptional performance, she helped secure the Runner-Up trophy for the BCA U -15 team. We're proud of her contribution and growth! 🌟

Congratulations to our champion, Paramsinh K Chauhan, on his selection to the BCA U-16 team! Ready to showcase his skills as a wicket-keeper and batsman in the RG1 Boys U-16 multi-day tournament in Rajkot, November 5-19, 2024. All the best, Paramsinh – make us proud!
