The reporting time for the match was 10:00 AM. If a walkover was awarded at 9:00 AM, on what grounds was that decision taken? More importantly, how can a team be disqualified and removed from the tournament without following due process, proper inquiry, or giving the team an opportunity to present its side?
We request the management to provide evidence, including photos and videos of the opposing team's presence at the ground, and clarify under which tournament rule Srinagar Gymkhana has been disqualified. Fairness and transparency should be the foundation of every tournament.
A team cannot be declared absent before the reporting time, nor can it be disqualified without a valid reason and proper procedure. We deserve answers.🏏

With deep sorrow, we inform the passing away of our dear friend and team member Farooq Ahmad Bhat, resident of Nowgam, Srinagar, who tragically lost his life today morning in a road accident.

Farooq was not only a valuable player of Srinagar Gymkhana Cricket Team but also a wonderful friend and a kind soul. His absence has left a void that can never be filled. 💔

🤲 We request everyone to pray for his Maghfirah (forgiveness) and high ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous. May Allah grant patience to his family and loved ones in this difficult time.
