โšฝ J&K Sub-Junior Girls Football Trials Conclude: 42 Players Advance to Final Round

51 footballers participated in the divisional selection trials for the J&K Sub-Junior Girls Football Team, with 38 players at TRC Srinagar and 13 players at Parade Ground Jammu. Following technical assessment, 42 players have been shortlisted, comprising 29 from Kashmir Division and 13 from Jammu Division, for the final selection phase on July 16 and 17, 2026 at TRC Srinagar.

The selected team will represent the Union Territory at the AIFF Sub-Junior Girls National Football Championship 2026, organised under the guidance of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.

Opening Ceremony: 2nd National Coaching Camp of Indian Soft Tennis Team!

The camp, held in preparation for the 20th Asian Games, Japan 2026, began today at Gindun Sports Stadium, Rajbagh, Srinagar. Approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the Sports Authority of India, the camp will continue from 10 July to 13 August 2026, with national team players and coaching staff in intensive preparation ahead of the Games.

The camp is being organised under the guidance of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, in collaboration with the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India and the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association.

๐Ÿ“ 2nd UTT J&K Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2026 Concludes!

Maanay Mansotra clinched the Men's Singles title defeating Akash 3-2, while Nitya Arora lifted the Women's Singles crown, defeating Mishthi Aggarwal 3-1. Syrah Dewan shone with three gold medals across the Under 11, 13 and 15 categories, and Samar Dev Bansal claimed two titles in the Under 15 and Under 17 boys categories. A total of 230 paddlers from across the UT of J&K competed over three days, with focus on nurturing young talent ahead of the National Championships in January 2027.

The championships were organised under the guidance of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council by the Table Tennis Association of J&K, under the initiatives "My Youth My Pride" and "Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan."

โšฝ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Selection Trials Begin for J&K Sub-Junior Girls Football Team!

The Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council commenced selection trials for the U-14 Sub-Junior Girls Football Team, which will represent the UT at the AIFF Sub-Junior Girls National Football Championship 2026. Around 75 players took part on Day 1, 60 from Kashmir Division and 15 from Jammu Division, evaluated by a technical committee on technical, tactical, and physical parameters.

Divisional trials continue on July 14, with final selections on July 16 and 17 at TRC Srinagar. The initiative is organised under the guidance of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council to strengthen women's football and build a national-level talent pathway.
