Srinagar, May 26:Defa-e-Jamait Ahli Hadees Halqa President Batamaloo Aijaz Ahmad Bhat on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, praying for peace, prosperity and communal harmony across Jammu and Kashmir and the country.

In his Eid message, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat said that Eid-ul-Azha symbolizes the values of sacrifice, compassion, brotherhood and devotion to Almighty Allah. He urged people to follow the teachings of Islam in their true spirit and strengthen the bonds of unity, mutual respect and social harmony in society.

He said the holy festival teaches humanity the importance of selflessness, patience and helping the poor and needy. “Eid-ul-Azha is an occasion to remember the spirit of sacrifice and extend love and support to those who are underprivileged and in need of care,” he said.

The Halqa President Batamaloo appealed to people to celebrate the festival with simplicity and responsibility while remembering families facing hardships. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to build a peaceful and progressive society where people of all communities live with dignity and harmony.

Aijaz Ahmad Bhat also prayed for lasting peace, development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He hoped that the auspicious occasion would bring happiness, joy and blessings to every household and further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the people.
