Table Tennis Club was born on 2nd June’1993 at Udharbond, tiny town just eleven kilometers away from Silchar, the heart of the Barak Valley of Assam.

শিলচর তথা বরাক উপত্যকার বিশিষ্ট ক্রীড়া সাংবাদিক সঞ্জয় রায়ের প্রয়াণে আমরা গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করছি। শুরুর দিনগুলো থেকেই টেবিল টেনিস ক্লাবের চড়াই-উতরাইয়ের যাত্রাপথে এক নির্ভরযোগ্য সঙ্গী ছিলেন এই জনপ্রিয় ক্রীড়া সাংবাদিক।
তাঁর প্রয়াণে আমাদের ভরসার এক জায়গা শূন্য হল। আমরা তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করছি এবং প্রয়াতের পরিবারের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা প্রকাশ করছি 🙏

The Table Tennis Club felicitated Hon'ble Minister Shri Kaushik Rai on the successful completion of his first year in the State Cabinet.
The event took place at the club's Indoor Sports Complex in Udharbond on Sunday, 1 February 2026.
It was an immensely encouraging occasion for everyone present when the Hon'ble Minister announced an allocation of ₹30 lakh to strengthen and upgrade the club's indoor facilities. This generous support will greatly benefit the sporting community, especially the table tennis fraternity in the region.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shri Kaushik Rai for graciously accepting our invitation and for his kind and substantial announcement.
