1st HPAP Battalion is presently commanded by Sh. Bhupinder Negi ,HPS. H.A.P. Installations. This Battalion vacated Junga in September, 1965. was raised by the Govt.
‘Junga’ was the capital of Erstwhile Keonthal State till 1948. ‘Mahasu’ District came in the existence in 1948, on the creation of Himachal Pradesh. Since 1949, ‘Junga’ continued to be District Police Lines of ‘Mahasu’ till 1960 and Police Training Centre of Himachal Pradesh Police. In 1960 ‘Mahasu’ Lines were shifted to Bharari (Bharatpur House) and the mounted Police of ‘Mahasu’ continued to be

Awareness on Drug Abuse
An awareness lecture on Drug Abuse and its harmful effects was conducted today at 1st HPAP Battalion, Junga by Dr. Amit Sharma, Medical Officer, 1st HPAP Battalion, Junga.
The session focused on the harmful impact of drug abuse on health, family and society, and highlighted the importance of making healthy and responsible choices.

लक्ष्य खाकी: कमांडेंट श्री भूपेंद्र सिंह नेगी जी ने दिए सफलता के मूलमंत्र
हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती 2026 के लिए चल रहे नि:शुल्क कोचिंग कैंप में आज कमांडेंट श्री भूपेंद्र सिंह नेगी जी ने इंडोर क्लास में उपस्थित होकर सभी अभ्यर्थियों का मार्गदर्शन किया और उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया।
इस विशेष सत्र के मुख्य बिंदु:
ग्राउंड टेस्ट की रणनीति: कमांडेंट महोदय ने अभ्यर्थियों को हाई जंप और लॉन्ग जंप की सही तकनीक साझा की तथा आउटडोर फिजिकल टेस्ट को सफलतापूर्वक पास करने के महत्वपूर्ण टिप्स दिए।
लिखित परीक्षा की तैयारी: इंडोर लिखित परीक्षा की सटीक तैयारी, समय प्रबंधन और कठिन विषयों पर पकड़ बनाने के गुर सिखाए।
अनुशासन और समर्पण: अभ्यर्थियों को प्रेरित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि "खाकी वर्दी केवल एक परिधान नहीं, बल्कि सेवा और समर्पण का प्रतीक है—और इसे वही पहन पाते हैं जो दिन-रात सच्ची मेहनत करते हैं।"
कमांडेंट महोदय के इस प्रेरणादायी संबोधन से कैंप के सभी युवाओं में नया जोश और ऊर्जा का संचार हुआ है।
