তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাই। দোষীদের চরম শাস্তি দাবি করছি। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের জানাচ্ছি, যেখানে সেখানে খেপ খেলার পরিণীতি কি হতে পারে দেখো।

ফুটবলার হত্যার জেরে আবারও শিরোনামে বারুইপুর। গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় বারুইপুরের উদীয়মান ফুটবলার প্রসেনজিৎ বিশ্বাসকে ছুড়িকাহত করে হত্যা করেছে তিনজন দুষ্কৃতী। কয়েকদিন আগে হওয়া একটি খেলায় প্রসেনজিৎদের দল জিতে যাওয়ার পর শুরু হওয়া বচসার ধারাবাহিকতায় তাঁকে কাল বাড়ি থেকে ডেকে নিয়ে হত্যা করা হয়। অত্যন্ত প্রতিভাবান ফুটবলার ছিলেন ১৭ বছর বয়সী প্রসেনজিৎ। সংসারের অভাব দূর করতে অত্যন্ত অল্প বয়স থেকেই খেপ খেলে অর্থ উপার্জন করতেন তিনি। সম্প্রতি মূলধারার ফুটবলে জেলা লিগের একটি ক্লাবে সইও করেছিলেন। কিন্তু সামান্য খেলা নিয়ে বচসার জেরে তাঁর প্রাণ কেড়ে নিলো কিছু নরপিশাচ। আশার কথা তিন হত্যাকারীকে ধরা হয়েছে। আশা করবো তাদের দ্রুত কঠোরতম শাস্তির ব্যবস্থা করা হবে।
ফুটবলার প্রসেনজিৎ বিশ্বাসের অকালপ্রয়াণে আমরা অত্যন্ত শোকাহত। তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করি এবং তাঁর শোকস্তব্ধ পরিবারের সদস্যদের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করি।

Crossover exchange! Hatia Sports Club from Ranchi, Jharkhand came visiting us as part of their football tour. We had a soccer-fill Sunday morning where we played out 3 matches that fielded u13 to u20 boys and girls. Our u14 to u17 players played their hearts out and learned a lot from the opponents too. Thanks to our friend Jiban who made this connection. We express our gratitude to the Hatia coach and wish his players a bright future. We are touched by the little gesture of honoring us with the special Gamcha, a Jharkhand tradition.

A heartfelt thanks to FC for making the summery Saturday sweat and sweet by inviting us for a 11 side match (U16). Score is not important in these friendly faceoffs but the football is! Fir the sake of reporting, Promisers FA has won 1-0 via a Ishan Das penalty.

গ্রীষ্মের এক শনিবারের বিকেলটা এত ঘর্মাত্মকভাবে ফুটবলীয় আনন্দে শামিল করার জন্যে FC কে জানাই আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। খেলার ফল গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নয়, ১১-সাইড ফুটবলটাই মূল উদ্দেশ্য। জানানোর জন্য, ১-০ গোলে প্রমিসার্স জিতেছে, পেনাল্টি থেকে গোল করেছে ঈশান।

রবিবারের ভোরবেলা, আমাদের প্রানাধিক খেলার উদযাপনে Bengal Heroes Football School র ডাকে PromiseRS Football Academy র নিউটাউন সফর স্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকল দুদলের উজ্জীবিত ফুটবলে এবং বহু অনুর্ধ ১৩,১৪ খেলোয়াড়দের অংশগ্রহনেও। এই কংক্রিট আগ্রাসনের সময়ে ১১ সাইড ফুটবল ম্যাচ রোজ খেলার সুযোগ পাওয়াই যে দুষ্কর। দুদলের অনেকে নজর কাড়ল, জয়সূচক গোল যদিও এলো পেনাল্টি থেকে, প্রমিসার্সের ঈশানের পা থেকে।

Thanks to Bengal Heroes for inviting us for a rare 11 side match opportunity, both the teams, even their u13 and u14 players played with excellence with Ishan of Promisers scoring the match winner via penalty.
