The Arunachal Cycling Association successfully and peacefully conducted the Selection Trial at IG Park for the upcoming National MTB Championship.

A total of 20 riders participated in the trial. The official selection results will be announced and updated soon.

We thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

Congratulations

Harsh*ta Jakhar becomes the first Indian woman to be part of the Tour de France Femmes. 🇮🇳🥹

The 19 year old cyclist led a 4.5km neutralised ride ahead of the professional peloton before Stage Two in Switzerland.

She took part in the event through the UCI World Cycling Talent Programme, which supports young cyclists from different countries.

Organized by Arunachal Cycling Association and the Department of Youth Affairs in collaboration with CFI, SAI, and MY Bharat, the event was graced by Hon'ble Minister Shri Kento Jini, HMLA & ACA President Shri Mutchu Mithi, HMLA Shri Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Chief Secretary Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Shri Pawan Kumar Sain, Shri Akshat Kaushal, Miss Arunachal, Mrs Arunachal, Arunachal Got Talent, and other distinguished guests.

The 19 km bicycle ride from Akash Deep to Yupia Outdoor Stadium reflected our shared commitment to health, fitness, and sustainable living.

Heartiest congratulations to Ms. Rubi Lombo on creating history as the first MTB coach from the state and the only female coach from Arunachal Pradesh selected by the Sports Authority of India for Team India at the Asian Mountain Bike Championships 2026 in Tashkent.
