वय वाढलं, तरी शरीराची लय, हालचाल आणि आनंद जिवंत ठेवता येतो का? 🤔
Yes, absolutely! 🕺💃
Avartan Dance Foundation presents “Dance for Seniors” (Online Mode)—a beautiful initiative designed specifically for our elders to stay active, happy, and connected. Guided by our expert facilitator, Dr. Sanjyot Mahajan, these twice-a-week sessions focus on:
सांध्यांची हालचाल (Joint Mobility)
शरीराचा समतोल आणि लवचिकता (Balance & Flexibility)
ऊर्जा आणि शांतता (Energy & Inner Peace)
No prior dancing experience is needed! All you need is the willingness to move and rediscover the rhythm of life. 🎶
🚀 We Resume in June 2026!

It takes a village to raise a child they say, but what about those who have raised a village? What goes into creating a community who have aged while caring for others?
The Second edition of the PD Symposium’s line up is a refreshing take on ageing bodies, persons with PD, meaning of care and support and redefining what resilience means to us all.
We have been able to do this with the support of Sancheti Healthcare Academy and its Executive Director, Manisha Sanghavi, for their wholehearted support of the Dance for Parkinson’s Symposium in Pune. We extend our deepest gratitude to them for being with us in this journey.
We look forward to continuing this meaningful association as we build connections to uplift lives.
We are excited and ready for the symposium and warmly welcome everyone to join us!

Dance for Parkinson’s Symposium 🌷
Day 2 – Participating | Sharing | Performing
Our second day moves from witnessing to doing.
A very powerful reading session offers a chance to listen. We share some of the most heroic stories from our PD members - join us in witnessing the joy, mutual respect and resilience.
Through an interactive workshop, participants will engage directly with movement as an immersive practice. No prior experience is needed—only openness. The workshop is designed to be accessible and supportive, offering practical tools that connect movement, creativity, and mental wellbeing.
The symposium culminates in a live performance titled “Rhythm of Resilience” by the PD Group, embodying the very theme we are exploring. Their work stands as living proof that performance is not about perfection— it is about reimagining one’s relationship with presence, connection, and vitality.
We invite you to participate, express, and experience !
