जागतिक सायकल दिनानिमित्त पुण्यात ३५०० हून अधिक सायकलप्रेमींचा उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग

पुणे, दि. ७ जून २०२६ : जागतिक सायकल दिनानिमित्त महालुंगे-बालेवाडी येथील श्री शिवछत्रपती क्रीडा संकुलात भव्य “World Bicycle Day Ride 2026” चे आयोजन करण्यात आले. युवक कार्यक्रम व क्रीडा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार यांच्या सहकार्याने आयोजित या उपक्रमाला तब्बल ३५०० हून अधिक सायकलप्रेमींचा उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद लाभला.

या कार्यक्रमात सर्वांसाठी २५ किमी व ५० किमी अंतराच्या सायकल फेऱ्यांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. तसेच “अस्मिता - खेलो इंडिया” अंतर्गत महिला व मुलींसाठी विशेष ५ किमी, ७ किमी आणि १० किमी गट आयोजित करण्यात आले. फिटनेस, पर्यावरण संवर्धन आणि सायकल संस्कृतीचा प्रसार हा या उपक्रमाचा मुख्य उद्देश होता.

या उपक्रमाला Loha Foundation, Cycling Association of Maharashtra,Desi Farm, Max Protein, Avon Cycles, Oxyrich, Foodstrong, Cocoa Melts, APCCI, Nagarro, विविध शासकीय विभाग, Asmita Foundation, Rotary District 3131, Bicycle Mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad तसेच इतर संस्थांचे मोलाचे सहकार्य लाभले.

कार्यक्रमाचे नियोजन आणि अंमलबजावणी Sports Authority of India (SAI) व Directorate of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली जिल्हा क्रीडा अधिकारी कार्यालय पुणे , महाराष्ट्र सायकल असोसिएशन आणि लोहा फाउंडेशन यशस्वीरित्या पार पाडली.

या प्रसंगी सायकल रॅलीस मा मंजूषा नागपुरे महापौर पुणे यांनी व श्री शांताराम जाधव अर्जुन अवॉर्ड यांनी झेंडा दाखवून प्रारंभ करण्यात आला अनेक मान्यवरांची उपस्थिती लाभली. यामध्ये श्री कृष्ण प्रकाश (अपर पोलीस महासंचालक, IPS), श्री संजय सबनीस (उपसंचालक, श्री शिवछत्रपती क्रीडा संकुल), श्री संजय टकले (डाकार रॅली वर्ल्ड चॅम्पियनशिप स्पर्धक), श्री सुलेख कौशिक (जीएम - सेल्स अँड मार्केटिंग, Avon Cycles), श्री जगन्नाथ लकडे जिल्हा क्रीडा अधिकारी पुणे श्री अभिजित मोहिते (Cycling Association of Maharashtra), दीपाली पाटिल राज्य क्रीडा मार्गदर्शक व प्राचार्य क्रीडा प्रबोधनी बालेवाडी पुणे श्री रवींद्र वाणी (Loha Foundation), तसेच FIT India Ambassador कु. दीक्षा आणि कु. स्वप्नाली यांचा समावेश होता.

मान्यवरांनी सायकलिंगच्या माध्यमातून निरोगी जीवनशैली, पर्यावरण संवर्धन आणि शाश्वत वाहतुकीचा संदेश देत अशा उपक्रमांची आवश्यकता अधोरेखित केली.
मा खासदार श्रीरंग बारणे मावळ यांच्या हस्ते अस्मिता सायकल स्पर्धेतील विजेत्या मुलींना मेडल व लकी ड्रॉ च्या माध्यमातून सायकली देण्यात आल्या
या यशस्वी आयोजनामुळे पुणे शहराने पुन्हा एकदा क्रीडा, फिटनेस आणि सामाजिक सहभाग यामध्ये आपले वेगळेपण सिद्ध केले आहे.असे

✅ **RIN is mandatory** for participation in all events **affiliated with or organised by CAM**.

It was a great honour to be welcomed with such warmth at the head office of the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh (MMPS) by its President, Shri Sandeep Chavan, at thier headquarters at press club , Mumbai. Accompanied by Mr Pravin Patil, CEO, I attended a press interaction during which we apprised the journalists of the recent developments in cycling across the country.
