Then the trail leads through the Khumbu, into Namche Bazaar and onwards as the landscape gradually changes.

There are days when the focus is simply on slowing down and giving your body time to adjust. And then come the higher trails, rocky landscapes, Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.

After that, the direction changes.

The return journey begins - but everything you experienced along the way comes with you.

From the Tricolour to the Roof of Africa! 🇮🇳

15 August 2026, Independence Day.
A day of pride, perseverance and an unforgettable achievement at 5,895 metres, the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. 🇮🇳🏔️

Led by Nikunj Shah, the GAF team and 14 determined participants took on one of Africa’s greatest challenges, pushing through altitude, fatigue and every obstacle along the way.

🏔️Mt. Yunam Summit on 80th Independence Day

🇮🇳 Giripremi Adventure Foundation proudly unfurled the Tricolour atop Mt. Yunam (6,111 m) in Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh, on 15th August Independence Day.

Led by varun bhagwat the team successfully reached the summit on Independence Day, carrying the pride of the nation to the high Himalayas.
