A proud moment for Ruma Reshi Cricket Club (RRCC) as star batter Saqib Nazir was honoured with three major awards at the Grand Finale of the Pulwama Premier League held at Sports Ground Pulwama today.

Saqib Nazir was named Man of the Series, while he also received the awards for Best Batter of the Tournament and Super Sixes of the Tournament for his outstanding performances throughout the competition.

His consistent batting, powerful stroke play and impressive six-hitting ability made him one of the standout performers of the tournament.

RRCC Management congratulated on the remarkable achievement and said his performance has made the entire RRCC family proud.

RRCC’s opener batter Liyaqat Bashir produced a sensational all-round performance in the ongoing Panchal Premier League at Panjran Sports Ground, earning the Player of the Match award.

Opening the innings, played a brilliant knock of 64 runs before making an equally impactful contribution with the ball by claiming 4 wickets, helping his team register a memorable victory.

Ruma Reshi Cricket Club (RRCC) defeated Kangan Strikers by 4 wickets in the Quarterfinal of the Pulwama Premier League at the Sports Ground, Pulwama, on Thursday.

RRCC Storm into Quarterfinals of Pulwama Premier League; Saqib Nazir Shines with Match-Winning Century

Pulwama, July 5: Ruma Reshi Cricket Club (RRCC) advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pulwama Premier League after defeating BCC Bugam by two wickets in a thrilling pre-quarterfinal match played at the Sports Stadium Pulwama on Sunday.

Chasing a challenging target of 187 runs in 20 overs, RRCC held their nerve to complete the chase, thanks to a sensational unbeaten 100 from Saqib Nazir. He was well supported by Sameer Dar, who scored 29 runs, while Liyaqat added a valuable 17 runs.

Earlier, RRCC bowlers put up a disciplined performance with Saqib Nazir, Ishfaq Bhat, and Nayeem Wani claiming two wickets each, while Aanas Shafi picked up one wicket to help restrict BCC Bugam to a competitive total.

For his outstanding all-round performance, including an unbeaten century and two wickets, was declared the Player of the Match. In recognition of his exceptional contribution, the RRCC Management also presented him with a cash award.

RRCC Qualify for Pulwama Premier League Quarter-Finals

Ruma Reshi Cricket Club-RRCC produced a commanding performance to defeat Young Talents Chitragam by 7 wickets and secure a place in the Quarter-Finals of the Pulwama Premier League at Sports stadium Pulwama on Tuesday.

Chasing a challenging target of 192 runs, RRCC completed the chase in just 15.5 overs. Saqib Nazir starred with an unbeaten 75-run knock and also claimed a wicket, earning the Man of the Match award for the fifth time this season.

Sameer Dar contributed 55 runs, while Danish Lefty added 38 runs to power RRCC to victory.

Earlier, Aaqib Ayub and Aanas Shafi picked up two wickets each, while Ishfaq Bhat and Saqib Nazir claimed one wicket apiece.
