Two asanas. Two very different journeys.
On the last of our Sadhana, we were asked to demonstrate any two. I had chosen Yogadandasana and Eka Papa Raja Kapotasana.
Yogadandasana - I was able to quickly connect with the posture. But Backbends, on the other hand, have always been a challenge. Even after 11+ years of practice, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana continues to challenge me. There is effort every time, and perfection still feels far away.
I chose this contrast as a reminder - some asanas come with ease, while others continually ask us to work more and stay patient. Something in life or work keeps us effortless progress, while others continuously ask us to grow.
Chaturanga Dandasana 💪🧘♀️
Strong legs. Active glutes. Stable core.
The strength of the pose comes from the whole body working together - not just the arms.
Bear insult.
Bear injury.
Highest Yoga - inner equanimity🔥🧘♀️
Everything in life needs a pause.
Even my phone. Even my thoughts.
Creating space.
Just me and nature.
Stepping beyond the boundaries I had unconsciously built, and reconnecting with a wider perspective.
The journey to know thyself continues with a single step. Every step is worth taking😊
After every Sadhana, my husband welcomes me home with, “Welcome back to the Matrix.” 😄
Happy Friendship Day to All and my forever partner in crime💛

Completed 21 days of Yoga Sadhana
Three weeks of digital silence.
A quieter mind, a steadier practice, and a grateful heart. 🙏
Three years of continuous Yoga Sadhana, and today, I am grateful to have completed level 3 Yoga Acharya Sadhana at Bharath Yoga Shala (Indea Yoga), Mysore.
Thank you, Sir Bharat Shetty for creating a safe space to apply our learnings, deepen our practice, and grow with humility.
My reflection after Yoga Sadhana:
Fewer words. More work. More action.
The moment I stepped away from the wall support, I met my fear.
I fell, I failed “Happily”
“Abhyasa Vairagya Abhyam Tan Nirodhah”
This yoga sutra reminds us that a steady mind is cultivated through consistent practice and non-attachment.
Letting go of dependency whether on a wall or fear is part of the journey.
The wall prepared me,
The fall strengthened me
And the practice continues😊
The wall helped me prepare, and
The fall gave me courage.
Every asana begins with preparation. In my journey, the wall became a guide.
It taught me that taking support is not weakness - it is part of learning. The wall gave me confidence when I lacked balance and safety.
The wall reminded me that growth doesn’t happen by avoiding support; it happens by using support wisely until strength, awareness, and confidence arise from within.
