With every edition of our Marathon, we aspire to reach out to more people and in our small way, contribute to bringing the change we wish to see. Backed by the combined strength of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT, formerly known as UDCT), ICT MARATHON is the event that not only profoundly delivers an awakening towards health but also leaves a social impact with each successful year. every edition of our Green Marathon, we aspire to reach out to more people and in our small way, contribute to bringing the change we wish to see.From running for the dreams of underprivileged children, to supporting the cause of Animal Welfare, ICT Marathon has slowly become the flagship event of Sportsaga. The saga of this Marathon began back in 2007, when we saw 700 participants running for PETA, 1500 people ran for the Akshara kids the next year, and in the year after that we joined hands with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.In 2013 we outran cancer , and the ICT Marathon was its pinnacle last year where we witnessed a whooping registration of over 3000 participants running for the cause of child welfare in association with Make A Wish, India. With its TENTH edition last year,we had the following associations - our TITLE CAUSE PARTNER: Raah foundation
In it's 14th edition,this year, ICT Green Marathon 2021 strives hard to contribute towards the society by embracing the dual cause - "Welfare of Senior Citizens and Underprivileged Children". Collaborating with the following NGOs, namely, HelpAge India, Magic Bus and Arthritis Foundation of India (AFI), we aim to spread more number of smiles this year!
