The IRFU is the sole governing body for the sport of Rugby-Football in India and is responsible for the overall growth & development of Rugby, across the country. The IRFU is geographically divided into 5 Zones - North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone & Central Zone. Each Zone has representation on the IRFU Board and is responsible for the growth and development of the sport within their region.
