From early morning practices to prenatal classes, from little ones to our elders, from partner workshops to simply finding a few quiet moments for yourself…

These are the little things that make this journey so special.

Because honestly, there’s something kinda chic about building a life where wellness just becomes a part of who you are. ✨

She thinks we're just playing.

I know we're building something much deeper.
With every stretch, every laugh, and every moment spent together,
I'm teaching her that movement is joy, health is a priority, and taking care of yourself is an act of self-love.

The greatest gift I can give my daughter isn't just my time—it's the example I set every single day. 🤍

The biggest transformation from yoga wasn’t my body… it was the way I love the people around me.

I started yoga thinking it would improve my health. What I didn’t expect was how deeply it would improve my relationships.

It helped me pause before reacting, communicate with kindness, and be truly present with the people I love.

The mat became a place where I learned patience, compassion, and acceptance — and those lessons slowly found their way into my home and friendships. 🤍

33 ✨

Some journeys don’t begin with a plan… they begin with a feeling.
30th June — a day when I chose to step into the world of yoga.

Little did I know, I wasn’t just choosing a course… I was answering a call.

I walked towards yoga thinking I was learning to teach…
but somewhere along the way, yoga started teaching me.
It taught me to breathe through the chaos, to find stillness in movement, to be kinder to myself, and to embrace every version of me.

Today, on my birthday, practicing under the open sky feels like a reminder —
I didn’t find yoga… yoga found me. 🤍

33 years of becoming, unlearning, growing and returning back to myself.

And maybe there’s something beautiful about 33 being a palindrome…
a number that looks the same from both sides —
a little reminder that no matter how life changes me, I always come back to myself. ✨

Forever grateful for the path that chose me. 🌿

One of the biggest misconceptions about prenatal yoga is that it's just stretching.

In reality, a well-rounded prenatal practice includes strength training, balance work, breath awareness, relaxation, meditation, and community support.

Because pregnancy isn't just about growing a baby—it's about supporting the incredible changes happening in your body and mind.

Every class is designed to help moms-to-be feel stronger, more confident, and better prepared for both birth and postpartum recovery. 💛

Before seeing this post, what did you think prenatal yoga was all about?👇🏻💛

Periods can leave you feeling bloated, tired, and uncomfortable.

These gentle movements help release tension, improve circulation, and create a sense of ease in the body.

✨ Supported Reclined Heart Opener
(Pillow under the upper back, holding opposite elbows)
Gently opens the chest and encourages deep breathing.

✨ Child's Pose with a Pillow
A comforting posture that relaxes the lower back and hips.

✨ Bridge Pose
Helps relieve stiffness in the lower back and improves blood flow.

✨ Butterfly Pose
Gently stretches the inner thighs and pelvic region.

✨ Cat-Cow Stretch
Mobilizes the spine and can ease lower back discomfort.

✨ Supported Matsyasana (Fish Pose)
Using a pillow or bolster for support, this pose opens the chest and promotes relaxation.

✨ Abdominal Breathing
Place your hands on your belly and take slow, deep breaths. A simple yet powerful way to calm the nervous system.

💛 Remember: Period movement isn't about pushing yourself. It's about listening to your body and choosing comfort over intensity.

What is your go-to self-care ritual during your periods? 🌷

Part 2 is here ✨

Nap time cuddles for Marziyah 💤
A yoga class in between 🧘🏻‍♀️
Picked her up from a birthday party 🎈
Cooked dinner 🍲
Prayed Maghrib 🤲🏼

And just like that, another beautiful day comes to an end.

Not every day is extraordinary, but there is something special in these ordinary moments. ❤️

Half my day in a reel ✨

5:30 AM to 2:00 PM 🌿

🤍 Start the day with Namaz
🧘‍♀️ Teach yoga classes
👶 Take care of Marzu
🌱 Make time for meditation and self-care
🍎 A few quiet moments in between

Some days look busy from the outside, but they're built on small rituals that keep me grounded.

This is just the first half of my day... 👀

Should I post Part 2 and show you what the rest of my day looks like?
