Although we were unable to get the win this time, she stayed in there when things got hard and completed every round without giving up.

Today's lesson from our head coach: blocking jabs isn't about muscling your hands up. It's about understanding the variations and keeping your structure intact.

When a jab comes, the first instinct is usually wrong. Most fighters try to catch it with both hands or push it away, both tire you out and leave you exposed. Coach showed the team something different today.

This is the kind of work that happens on the mat. The foundational understanding that separates fighters who survive in the pocket from fighters who belong there.
