Yoga & wellbeing for women in midlife ๐ŸŒฟ Host of Saath โ€” Journeys with Tasneem. New episodes every Friday, 7 PM on Spotify.

Episode Eight is live.

By four o'clock you are done. Not tired. Done. And somewhere
along the way you decided that was your age.

It is not. It began at breakfast.

Inside this one: the three thieves of your afternoon, five
breakfasts that actually hold you until lunch, and the one
rule to carry.

Never let a carbohydrate walk alone.

Seven unhurried minutes. On Spotify and Apple Podcasts. And
from today, on YouTube too. Link in bio.

If a man who loves you is near, let him hear this one too.

What time does your afternoon go?

This one is not for you. It is for him.

Three cards, one minute to read.

If you have caught yourself apologising for being tired by
evening, or seen him watching you and not knowing what to
say, send him this. Not as a complaint. As an explanation.

He is not being unkind. He simply has no way of knowing
that what looks like disinterest at six o'clock began with
a chai and two biscuits at seven in the morning.

When he understands, everything gets gentler.

Episode Eight, The Steady Flame, is out tonight at 7 PM on
Spotify. Listen to it together if you can.

Who is the man you are going to send this to?

Five signs it is your blood sugar, and not your age.

1. You are shaky or light headed if a meal runs late.
2. You are ravenous by eleven, though you ate at seven.
3. The fog comes down at four, and words arrive a beat late.
4. Something sweet after dinner is not a want. It feels like
a need.
5. You are irritable in a way that lifts the moment you eat.

Look at what those five have in common. Every one of them
follows a rise and a fall. Not a decade.

This matters more than it sounds. A woman who believes it is
her age stops looking for an answer. A woman who knows it is
fuel can change it at breakfast tomorrow.

Where to start is one line. Never let a carbohydrate walk
alone.

A note I want to make properly. If several of these are
strong for you, or they have been going on a long time, ask
your doctor for a simple blood test. This is about energy,
not diagnosis, and a test costs very little.

Episode Eight, The Steady Flame, is out tomorrow at 7 PM on
Spotify. Link in bio.

How many of the five were yours?

Five breakfasts that will actually hold you until lunch.

Not one of them asks you to remove anything.

1. Two idlis with a bowl of sambar. Not idli and chutney
alone.
2. Poha, with a boiled egg beside it.
3. Curd with your paratha. Half the paratha, twice the curd.
4. Besan chilla. The flour is a pulse, so it holds you on
its own.
5. Chai with a handful of nuts instead of the biscuit.

Every one of them has a protein sitting beside the
carbohydrate. That is the whole rule.

And here is how you know it worked. You should not be hungry
ninety minutes later. If you are, the plate was too light.

You are not eating less. You are eating steadier.

Episode Eight, The Steady Flame, is out Friday at 7 PM on
Spotify. Link in bio.

Which of these five is already in your kitchen?

By four o'clock you are done. Not tired. Done.

And somewhere along the way you decided that was your age.

It is not.

Three things are taking your afternoon, and all three of
them happen before noon.

One. Chai and two biscuits on an empty stomach. The flame
flares for twenty minutes, then it drops, and it takes you
down with it.

Two. A carbohydrate that walks alone. White toast with jam.
Poha by itself. Nothing beside it to hold it steady.

Three. Saving your appetite all day for one heavy meal at
night. The body never gets a steady supply, so it learns to
hoard instead of spend.

The fix is much smaller than anyone has told you. The toast
gets an egg. The chai gets a handful of nuts instead of the
biscuit.

Never let a carb walk alone.

What time of day does your energy leave you?

The 4 p.m. crash is not always about age.
Sometimes, it began much earlier โ€” with what we ate, what we skipped, and how long we asked the body to keep going on very little.

This week on SAATH, we look at three quiet thieves of afternoon energy โ€” and the small shifts that can change the way the rest of your day feels.

No punishment. No complicated rules. Just learning to feed the body with a little more understanding. ๐ŸŒฟ

Episode Eight โ€” Friday.

Save this for the afternoon you wonder, โ€œWhy am I suddenly so tired?โ€
And send it to a woman who asks herself the same question.

23/08/2026

I do not eat less. I eat like a woman who is finally on her own side. ๐ŸŒฟ

Sunday quiet. A punishment you abandon by Tuesday. A kindness you keep for life. This week, feed your body the way you would feed someone you love. One question at your first meal, where is my protein.

And a small noticing for me this week. What time does your energy abandon you? Eleven? Three-thirty? Four? Just notice your hour. Next Friday, I will tell you why that crash began long before you felt tired.

Save this and follow Saath on Spotify, so Friday's episode finds you.

๐ŸŽง Episode Seven, on Spotify now.

So tell me, what is your hour?

22/08/2026

We will cook for eight, feed everyone twice, and then eat the burnt roti over the sink. ๐ŸŒฟ

Twenty minutes for a collagen cream. Twenty seconds for breakfast. My dear, perhaps we give the bricks a chance before we buy another jar. The collagen you are hunting in a bottle, your body would happily build herself, if only you handed her the material. That material is protein.

Save this for tomorrow's breakfast, and tag the woman who eats standing at the counter. She will laugh, and she will know. ๐Ÿค

๐ŸŽง Episode Seven, on Spotify now.

Tell me honestly, when did you last sit down for your own breakfast?

21/08/2026

For years, so many women have been taught that when the body changes, the answer is to eat less, shrink more, and fight harder.

But what if your body was never the enemy?

What if she was simply asking to be supported differently?

Tonight, we begin with the first brick: protein.
Not powders. Not complicated diets. Not another rulebook.

Food that may already be sitting in your own kitchen. ๐ŸŒฟ

SAATH ยท Chapter Seven โ€” The First Brick is now live on Spotify.

Listen slowly. Take what you need. And perhaps send this to a woman who has spent far too long fighting her own body.
