Popular Liberian rapper Bucky Raw was taken into custody by the LDEA this morning after officers conducted a search at his home—the same day he was scheduled to host his major event.

According to our reporter, the search followed a tense exchange between Bucky Raw and the officers on the scene. Authorities later said they found a substantial quantity of drugs in his kitchen, which led to his arrest.

He was placed in a pickup vehicle and transported to the LDEA headquarters for questioning.
