With immense pride, we successfully conducted the ELLIS – 30 Years of Excellence Inter School Table Tennis League Tournament 2026, in honor of Shri. S. Balasubramaniam, Former Secretary, Madurai DTTA, whose invaluable contribution to the development of Table Tennis continues to inspire generations.
🔥 200 players participated with great enthusiasm across 4 competitive events:
🏓 1st to 3rd Standard
🏓 4th to 5th Standard
🏓 6th to 8th Standard – Singles (Boys & Girls)
🏓 1st to 8th Standard – Open Doubles
Participants represented various districts including Ranipet, Chennai, Theni, Trichy, Thiruchengode, Thirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar, Erode, Salem, Dindigul, Pattiveerampatti, Coimbatore, Karur, and Madurai — making the tournament a grand state-level gathering of young talent.
🏆 Special Highlight:
Prizes were awarded from the Pre-Quarter Finals onwards in all events, encouraging and recognizing a wider pool of talented players.
🎁 Attractive gifts were presented to all participants, appreciating their effort, dedication, and sportsmanship.
🍱 Lunch was thoughtfully arranged and provided for all players and coaches, ensuring comfort and hospitality throughout the event.
The tournament was not just a competition, but a celebration of discipline, passion, unity, and sportsmanship. Every rally reflected hard work, every smile reflected joy, and every match reflected the true spirit of the game.
