Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace was built in 1636 by King Thirumalai Nayakkar,
the ruler of the Nayak dynasty who governed Madurai as his capital.

It is regarded as one of the greatest architectural achievements of the Nayak period.

The palace reflects a magnificent fusion of Dravidian and Islamic architectural styles,
distinguished by its massive pillars, sweeping arches,
and grand structural design.

During the British period,
a large portion of the palace was destroyed.

Later, the Government of Tamil Nadu undertook efforts
to preserve and restore this historic monument.

Today, Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace stands
as a silent witness to Madurai’s royal past
and enduring cultural legacy.

Silence is my attitude.
Focus is my weapon.

Not a performance… this is divine presence.
Muthappan Theyyam — where devotion, fire, and tradition become one. 🔥🙏

In the sacred rituals of North Kerala,
Muthappan appears not just as a deity,
but as a living blessing for devotees.

When the temple bells ring, the soul finds peace.
A moment of silence… a moment with the Divine. ✨
