The Karate India Organisation (KIO) National Team is all set to represent India at the 10th South Asian Karate Championship 2026 and the 2nd U-14 South Asia Cup 2026, to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 17th to 19th July 2026.

The Indian contingent is participating under the esteemed leadership of Hanshi Bharat Sharma, President, Karate India Organisation (KIO), with a strong team of athletes, coaches, referees, and officials determined to bring glory to the nation.

KIO announced a cash reward of INR 5 lakh to Alisha and INR 1 Lakh to Tarun Sharma for this achievement.
KIO has sponsored an amount of INR 16.5 Lakh to this contingent for the participation in this prestigious Asian Championship.
KIO players demonstrated their best of the performance and defeated the competitors of Iran, Japan, Vietnam, China, South Korea, Philippine, Kuwait, Macau, Qatar, Palestine in the tough competition.
