The 3rd Edition of 'Monsoon Soccer Fest' -2018 was held from 12th Aug to 15th Aug 2018. 16 teams participated in this event. 15 teams were from Distt. Kullu itself whereas 1 team was from Distt. Mandi. The match officials for the tournament were from HPFA Referee Panel.
The Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony was Mr. Munish Sharma (Ex- Vice President, MC Kullu).
The Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony was Mr. Rakesh Kumar (Nagchala Bartan Store) accompanied by Special guests Miss Anupam Negi (GM Kaisville), Mr. Tarun Vimal (Councillor Ward No 8) & Ashwani Ji (Swiss Times).
Himalayan Angels Football Club won the finals beating Dev Bhoomi FC by 1-0.
Best player for the tournament was Mr. Ajay Thakur and he was presented with a Trophy which was sponsored by Mr. Parag Nagal in Loving Memory of his father Lt. Sh. Ram Kumar Nagal Ji.
The winners were given a Trophy and cash prize of 12000 and Runners up were given a trophy and cash prize of 8000. All the volunteers and sponsors were presented with a memento for their contribution to make this tournament a success.
We would like to thank all the Sponsors as well as players and volunteers for their contribution and hope to get the same in the next years tournament too.
