As per government records Kota had India’s highest cases of Rabbies.The urgent need to eradicate rabies and to ensure a stable and healthy street dog prompted the birth of Kota animal welfare Trust. Our mission is to facilitate vital healthcare and support for sick, injured and neglected animals, to save lives and protect communities through the provision of preventative measures such as rabies vaccination and to nurture a symbiotic relation between animals and urban/rural population
Tax-Exemption Notice
We are a registered charity in India. Receipts can be issued for all donations for tax purposes, and direct donations to KAWT India are exempt under SECTION 80G of the Income Tax Act
Through the efforts of the trust rabies cases have come down in kota. Near about three thousand dogs have been sterlised
