3 days have passed since one of the greatest dates in the history of 8th March 2026 will forever be etched in our memories as we broke the curse of the .gca won back to back became the first team to win at home & the first to win it 3 times in the history of the competition.

Every Indian should be absolutely proud of the 🇮🇳 team, the players, the reserves, the team management and support staff & all those who have come together and made this dream possible.

I didn't want to share this but after seeing a past cricketing great & '83 World Cup winner use this moment to further his non-existent career in politics, increase his social influence & creating a hateful communal undertone for their vote bank. They should use the responsibility given to them by doing good. They are entitled to their opinion but they must also know they are not our moral compass.

We had 4 extra tickets to the Final on Sunday 8th March 2026. While everyone was busy making money by selling them at 8-10 times the price, we chose to give them away for free to anyone who wanted them. I didn't check their Aadhar card to find which religion they belonged from. They were Indians, my fellow women and men of our country, that was the only credential they needed to have.

I have followed Dheeraj Singh from his time with and now in his new channel When I saw him I respectfully went up to him & handed over 4 tickets so that he could pass it on to any fan who didn't have them, wanted to get into the stadium & witness this historic moment.

I didn't do it out of charity or to boast about this on social media or show how big of a heart we have. I did it because it was the right thing to do as an Indian, not a Hindu or a Bengali.
If we all come together & end the barriers of language, culture & religion that divides us, we can ensure that our children don't grow up in a country where any politician with an agenda can play vote bank politics when they should rejoice in the joy of 1.4 billion 🇮🇳
