Festus Football Tournament 2k17

Unfortunately, we have to give you the news that FESTUS 2K17 HAS BEEN CANCELLED😞😞😭😭

The reason is very angering, which is that 3 teams out of the 8 registered teams have backed out at the last moment.

Its true we could have played with 5 teams, but our budget had reduced drastically due to 3 teams backing out, and hosting the tourney had become difficult, in fact, impossible, since we would've suffered a huge loss if we kept the tourney.

3 days matches with refreshments and 10K and
8K prize money was impossible, when the total budget is coming to 25K after 3 teams backing out.

All the registered teams had called us, and said that they were pretty interested in playing the tournament, even though 3 teams have backed out. To these teams, there is only one thing I can say, thankyou for showing enthusiasm for this tournament.

Sadly, the tournament would lose its essence if there is not a good prize money, and refreshments.

Therefore, after much consideration, we sadly declare that FESTUS IS CANCELLED!!

We're sorry for the inconvenience.

The money has been refunded to all the playing teams.

Please read this note carefully...

Ruchira and Silver Spring have backed out at the last moment, and since there is no time left for the tournament, no other team is getting ready for the tournament.
I've written this post to ask you guys if you want to play this tournament with 6 teams or not.

Please comment your views in the comments section.

If you people don't want to play, the tournament won't take place, and all your money would be refunded.

Hoping for a good answer...

HEY THERE!! IMPORTANT POST, READ CAREFULLY....
All teams are required to have players are who are tops 1999 born.
The teams which haven't yet submitted their forms, you are required to bring them on the tournament date, since verification may be done during the tournament.
If a team is not able to produce their required documents when asked, it may lead to disqualification. So, it is my earnest request to all the teams to have their documents ready.

Good evening ppl!!! New update here.....
The registration fee for the tournament has been decreased to 5000INR.
However, with this we had to decrease the 1st prize money to 10000INR.
The 2nd prize money has been increased to 8000INR.
This has been done because many teams were showing discontent at the registration fee being 5.5K and the 2nd prize being 5K.
They also had problems with us having 5.5K as the reg fee, they considered it high.
So taking team suggestions into consideration, we have reduced the reg fee to as low as the budget permits.
And also, we have increased the 2nd prize money 💰, for the teams to be more content with their prize....

Hello 👋 again people !!!
The main reason for posting this is to inform you all that holding the tournament right after the boards is gonna be a tad too difficult for us.
So, I'd like to ask whether we can keep the tournament late in April, when the schools start, on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
At this time, everyone's school would be open , so no one would be out of station, and we'll get enough time to get the tournament to be all the more better.
Please give your suggestions here in the comment box.

Hey guys! With the new boards exam schedules rolled out, the FESTUS organizer board is in a fix.
The dates we were originally planning to keep FESTUS on won't be usable now.

We are confused whether to organize it right after the boards, I.e- mid April, or during the summer vacations.
We could use some help. Please comment in the comment box, when you'd like FESTUS to be held. Thank you.
