A glimpse of a beautiful morning spent celebrating movement, mindfulness, and community. While Yoga is often associated with meditation and inner peace, for endurance athletes it is much more—it improves flexibility, mobility, recovery, balance, breathing efficiency, and injury prevention.
At Dquests Adventure, Yoga is not limited to a single day. It remains an integral part of our year-round training philosophy, helping runners, cyclists, swimmers, trekkers, mountaineers, and triathletes become stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for their adventures.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful instructors Madhurima Mahapatra, Soumik Maity, and Toma for sharing their knowledge, energy, and passion with our community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration of health and wellness truly special. 🌿

We are incredibly proud to celebrate two of our own for their legendary performances at The Great Mawla Ghaati Ultra 2026, held in the untamed Sahyadri wilderness of Pune. Inspired by the fearless Mawla warriors of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this race is a test of "body, mind, and spirit" across steep, technical, and "zero-shortcut" terrain.
🏆 **Pritam Rai**
We are thrilled to announce that Pritam Rai from Sikkim secured a spectacular **2nd place** in the grueling 100 km category. Tackling a massive 6,100 meters of elevation gain, Pritam proved his elite status by navigating the rain-soaked peaks and treacherous descents of the Sahyadri mountains with unmatched resilience.
🏃♀️ **Tanusree Bhattacharya**
Massive congratulations to Tanusree Bhattacharya for conquering the 50 km category in 16:50 hours! She took on a course with a staggering 3,020 meters of elevation gain, battling scorching heat above 40 degrees for the entire day, only to endure a terrifying thunderstorm in the final 2 hours. Navigating the untrodden Sahyadri ghaati, she embodied the grit and "unwavering spirit" required to survive this monsoon-chaos trail.
Both athletes have showcased true stamina and willpower, proving that they have what it takes to conquer India’s most demanding mountain terrain. We at Dquests Adventure are honored to have such warriors represent us. Keep pushing the boundaries! 🏔️🔥
What’s an adventure without a few new experiences? Last Sunday, we crossed the Ganga as a team. With 6 first-timers in the mix, it was a day of growth, courage, and pure adventure. Always evolving, always pushing limits. That’s the Dquests way.

The mountains tested endurance, determination, and grit at the Tenzing Norgay Trail Run, a unique trail running event that follows the historic landscapes associated with the legendary mountaineer Tenzing Norgay.
The challenging 32 km category took runners through steep Himalayan trails, forest paths, tea gardens, and traditional mountain villages, demanding both physical strength and mental resilience.
We are proud to share the performances of our runners representing Dquests Adventure Sports Academy:
🏅 Soumik – 5:44:34 (32 km)
🏅 Prince Ahmed – 6:58:00 (32 km)
Completing a demanding Himalayan trail race is an achievement in itself. The relentless climbs, technical descents, changing weather, and high elevation make every finisher a winner.
Congratulations to Soumik and Prince Ahmed for carrying the spirit of endurance and adventure from Bengal to the trails of Darjeeling. Your efforts continue to inspire more athletes to explore the mountains beyond roads and stadiums.

🌧️🏃♂️ TAMRALIPTA ULTRA 2026 🌊🔥
From the ancient maritime glory of Tamralipta to the modern industrial gateway of Haldia, this land has carried the spirit of exploration, trade, resilience, and movement for thousands of years.
Once, ancient ships sailed from Tamralipta across distant seas carrying traders, monks, and ideas beyond India. Today, that same historic river corridor transforms into a journey of endurance — where runners will push beyond limits beside the mighty Rupnarayan and Hooghly rivers during Bengal’s monsoon.
Inspired by the legacy of Ashoka, Lord Buddha, Xuanzang (Hiuen Tsang), and the spirit of the Quit India Movement led by Matangini Hazra, Tamralipta Ultra is more than a race.
It is a run through history.
A run through rivers.
A run through human endurance.

Today, Bengal and the Indian endurance community witnessed a historic moment.
Avisek Tunga — founder of Dquests Adventure Sports Academy, race director of Kolkata City Triathlon, Goechala Trail Run and Coast to Crest Ultra — has once again proved why he is called the Ultra Man of India.
The myth, the legend, the true pilot of ultra sports in Bengal has successfully completed the Nepal HimalayanXTRI Extreme Triathlon with a smiling face, becoming the first Indian to achieve this incredible feat.
This is not only a personal victory for him, but also a proud and inspirational moment for the entire Indian ultra and endurance sports community. Respect, pride and salute to a man who continues to push the boundaries of human endurance and inspire countless athletes to dream beyond limits.

JBG Goechala Trail Ultra 2026: Closing Note
The curtains have closed on an unforgettable edition of the Goechala Trail Run. Standing in the shadow of the Himalayas, I am filled with deep gratitude for the mountains and the incredible community that made this happen.
Organizing a race in this remote rugged terrain is a relentless challenge of logistics, altitude, and weather. What looked like a single day of racing was months of coordination and belief. Despite the odds, we made it happen.
A Special Acknowledgment:
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Jai Balaji Group. Their interest and growing support for endurance sports are vital to the growth of this community. Thank you for believing in the spirit of the trail.
Heartfelt Thanks To:
Authorities: Khangchendzonga National Park, Yuksom Gram Panchayet, Adventure Cell and the Tourism Dept for allowing us into this sacred landscape.
Key Facilitators: Mr. Sanjeeb Limboo (Smile Sikkim) for crucial local coordinations, volunteers and Mr. Amar S***a for his constant guidance.
The Ground Officials: The Ultra Runner Pritam Rai for demanding route marking; Team Sportiz (Specially Mr. Nishant Maheswari, Mrs. Shradha Mehta, Mr. Sudip Basu, Mr. Gairik Basu), Timekeepers for precision timing, promotions; and the high-altitude support from Dquests (Including Pritam, Biplab, Soumyadip & Sreejan).
Our Partners: Up & Run, The Whole Truth Energy, Red Bull, and our hospitality partner, Hotel Himsagar.
The Backbone: Our tireless volunteers, medical teams, and photographers who braved the elements.
To the Runners: You are the heart of this race. Thank you for your trust, your endurance, and for pushing beyond your limits. We already saw new course records in 3 distance categories.
We know a race this grueling comes with learning curves. We are committed to evolving and improving with every edition.
This isn't the end—it’s just the beginning. We’ll see you next year, stronger and with more "colourful feathers."
Keep exploring. Keep pushing. Respect the mountains.
