How much effort does this moment actually require?
We often move with an amount of effort that was decided long before this moment — by habit, by previous experience, by what we think a movement or posture should feel like.
But the body we meet today may not need the same thing.
In Sunday Reset this week, we explored a simpler question:
How much effort is actually required now?
Sometimes the movement doesn’t need to change.
Sometimes what changes is the way we meet it.

Some days the practice is not about doing more.
It is about noticing how much we are already holding — in the body, the breath, the mind — and giving ourselves enough space to soften what no longer needs to be carried.
This Sunday we begin a new season of Sunday Reset — an hour of guided practice to slow down, reconnect with the body and return to yourself.

We begin tomorrow.
If you've been thinking about joining the Human Nature Portal...
this is your invitation.
Over the next three sessions, we're going to explore why so many of us keep finding ourselves pulled back into stress, worry and overthinking...
and what becomes possible when we begin meeting life differently.
This isn't about becoming a better version of yourself.
It isn't about trying harder.
And it certainly isn't about adding more to your already full life.
It's about understanding something far more fundamental.
Because when we understand Human Nature...
the way we experience life begins to change.
If that feels like a conversation you've been looking for...

I don't think most people need another morning routine.
Or another productivity system.
Or another habit tracker.
Or even another technique.
Because if information alone created lasting change...
most of us would already be living the lives we long for.
Instead, I think many of us have simply never been shown another way of meeting life.
Not another thing to do.
A different way of seeing.
A different way of responding.
A different relationship with the challenges that every one of us will inevitably face.
That simple shift has transformed the direction of my work over the last decade.
It's also the reason I've created the Human Nature Portal.
A free three-part online experience exploring what quietly keeps pulling us back into stress, worry and overthinking—and what becomes possible when we begin meeting life differently.
If that feels like a conversation you've been waiting for...

We spend so much of our lives trying to change our circumstances.
Trying to worry less.
Stress less.
Think less.
Yet somehow, the same struggles keep returning.
Perhaps the problem isn't that you're trying too little.
Perhaps you've simply never been shown another way of meeting life.
That's why I created the Human Nature Portal.
A free 3-part online experience exploring why so many of us feel pulled back into stress, worry and overthinking—and what becomes possible when we transform the way we meet life's challenges.

Over the last ten years, I've asked many people a simple question:
"What do you want most?"
The answers are almost never about money.
Or success.
Or even health.
People say things like...
"I just want to stop overthinking."
"I want to enjoy my family without my mind being somewhere else."
"I want to stop worrying all the time."
"I want to switch off."
That always makes me pause.
Because most of us don't wake up hoping for more.
We hope for less.
Less worry.
Less stress.
Less mental noise.
Less feeling like we're constantly trying to catch up with life.
Yet even after years of yoga, meditation, therapy, books and personal growth...
many people still find themselves pulled back into exactly the same place.
Not because those things don't work.
But perhaps because we've been trying to solve the wrong problem.
What if the challenge isn't life itself...
but the way we've learned to meet it?
That question has completely changed the direction of my work.
It's also why I've created something new called the Human Nature Portal.
A free three-part online experience where we'll explore the three things that quietly keep pulling us back into stress, worry and overthinking—and what becomes possible once we begin to see them clearly.

The biggest lie of modern life is that you should be able to do it all on your own.
We're taught to be self-sufficient.
To figure it out ourselves.
To handle our struggles privately.
To be strong enough that we don't need anyone else.
But when life becomes difficult, most people don't need more information.
They don't need another book or strategy.
They need connection.
A place to exhale.
A place where they don't have to hold it all together.
A place where they don't have to perform.
One of the strange realities of modern life is that we can be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone.
Because community isn't simply being around others.
It's being known by them.
It's having people who know your story.
Who notice when you need something more.
Who celebrate when you're thriving.
Who make space for both.
Many of the things we call healing happen naturally when we're in healthy relationship.
Being seen.
Being heard.
Being welcomed exactly as we are.
Not because someone fixes us.
But because we no longer have to carry everything by ourselves.
This is why shared meals matter.
Why conversations matter.
Why gathering together matters.
Why practice matters.
Why presence matters.
Not because these things solve all of life's problems.
But because they remind us of something we easily forget:
We were never meant to do life alone.
Perhaps what many of us are truly longing for isn't another solution.
It's belonging.

This photo was taken during a Kirtan session held by some wonderful guests from the UK.
They shared their music, their joy, and their devotion to Krishna, inviting us into a space where the boundaries of the individual soften and we remember our connection to something greater.
No matter religion or race or social standing - this moment was one of true oneness and community.
What does true community mean to you?
