In modern T20 and limited-overs cricket, saving a single boundary can change the entire momentum of the game. The elite outfielders don’t just run after the ball—they master the physics of the slide.
Here is how the pros do it:
1️⃣ The Approach: Sprint at a low angle to keep your centre of gravity stable.
2️⃣ The Cushion Slide: Slide on the outer side of your knees/thighs to protect your joints while using your body as a barrier to block the ball.
