If you’re spending hours every day preparing for PTE but your score is still stuck around 58–60, you may not need MORE practice. You may need BETTER practice.
After every practice session, ask yourself:
What did I get wrong?
Why did I get it wrong?
What have I done to make sure I don’t repeat that mistake?
Because simply answering more questions doesn’t automatically improve your score. You need to identify your patterns, understand your mistakes and actively work on them. The goal isn’t to spend more hours preparing. It’s to make every hour of preparation count.
So, ask yourself honestly: Are you practicing, or are you actually improving?
Comment “CHECKLIST” and I’ll send you my PTE Smart Practice Checklist to help you practice with more purpose.

Two people talking in a Retell Lecture? This is where many students start overthinking and end up missing the actual information.

Stop memorizing answers. Start learning how to think.
Most people freeze during the Describe Image task because they're trying to remember templates instead of understanding the image. In this reel, I share a simple 3-step thinking system that helps you describe diagrams naturally and confidently—without sounding robotic. Once you understand the process, you can tackle almost any diagram with ease.
Watch till the end and you'll never look at Describe Image the same way again.
Comment "DI" and I'll send you the complete framework.
Do you freeze when you see the PTE Describe Image task? The biggest mistake students make is trying to describe everything they see. That's exactly what causes hesitation, confusion, and lost marks.
Instead, use the 3-step rule: Where → What → Overall.
This simple framework helps you organize your thoughts, speak confidently, and give a structured response, even if the image looks complicated. Once you start following this method, Describe Image becomes much easier and far less stressful.
