इस स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर सेवा मध्य प्रदेश ने 10 जिलों की विभिन्न ग्राम पंचायतों में महिलाओं को ग्राम सभा, झंडा वंदन और पंचायत स्तर की गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भागीदारी के लिए प्रेरित किया।

500 से अधिक बहनों ने आगे बढ़कर अपने गांव की सड़क, बिजली, पानी, साफ़-सफ़ाई और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं से जुड़े मुद्दे ग्राम सभा में उठाये और उनके समाधान के लिए आवेदन भी प्रस्तुत किये।

जब महिलायें निर्णय प्रक्रिया में शामिल होती है, तो गाँव का विकास और मज़बूत होता है!

This Independence Day, SEWA Madhya Pradesh encouraged women across Gram Panchayats in 10 districts to actively participate in flag hoisting ceremonies, Gram Sabhas and local decision-making.

More than 500 women raised issues concerning roads, electricity, water, sanittation and other essential needs in their villages, and submitted applications to the concerned Panchayats for solutions.

When women’s vocies are part of decision-making, communities move forward together!

स्वतंत्रता सिर्फ़ इतिहास का अध्याय नहीं, बल्कि सम्मान, अवसर और बेहतर भविष्य के साथ जीने का अधिकार है।

इस स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर सेवा मध्य प्रदेश स्वतंत्रता की भावना और बेहतर कल के निर्माण में जुटे समुदायों की शक्ति का उत्सव मनाती है।

पहले अंधेरा था... अब उम्मीद की रोशनी है।

खंडवा जिले के छैगांव माखन के अवलिया गाँव में वर्षों तक स्ट्रीट लाइट की सुविधा नहीं थी। अंधेरा होने के बाद महिलाओं, बच्चों और बुजुर्गों के लिए बाहर निकलना कठिन और असुरक्षित हो जाता था।

लेकिन गाँव की महिला सेवा विकास समिति की बहनों ने हार नहीं मानी। उन्होंने एकजुट होकर ग्राम पंचायत के सामने अपनी बात रखी और लगातार फॉलो-अप किया। उनके सामूहिक प्रयासों से आज गाँव में 8–10 स्ट्रीट लाइटें लग चुकी हैं, जिससे लगभग 300 परिवारों को सुरक्षित और रोशन वातावरण मिला है।

यह बदलाव इस बात का प्रमाण है कि जब महिलाएँ संगठित होकर अपनी आवाज़ उठाती हैं, तो सकारात्मक परिवर्तन संभव होता है।

From Darkness to Light, From Hope to Change.

For years, the village of Awaliya in Chhaigaon Makhan, Khandwa district, had no street lights. After sunset, it became difficult and unsafe for women, children, and the elderly to step outside.

The women of the Womens' SEWA Development Committee came together, raised the issue with the Gram Panchayat, and persistently followed up. Their collective efforts brought change.

Today, 8–10 street lights have been installed, creating a safer and brighter environment for nearly 300 families.

This story is a reminder that when women unite and raise their voices, meaningful change becomes possible.

सामुदायिक पहल से पेयजल समस्याओं का प्रभावी समाधान

सेवा म.प्र. के सहयोग और समुदाय की सक्रिय भागीदारी से इंदौर, सागर, भोपाल एवं उज्जैन के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में पेयजल संबंधी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए संबंधित विभागों, नगर निगम और जनप्रतिनिधियों के साथ लगातार संवाद, आवेदन और फॉलो-अप किए गए।

इन प्रयासों के परिणामस्वरूप सरकारी बोरिंगों की मरम्मत, पाइपलाइन रिसाव की मरम्मत, नए नल कनेक्शन, गर्मी के दौरान टैंकरों के माध्यम से पेयजल उपलब्ध कराना तथा नियमित जलापूर्ति बहाल करना संभव हुआ।

इन सामूहिक प्रयासों से 450 से अधिक परिवारों को स्वच्छ और नियमित पेयजल उपलब्ध हुआ, जिससे समुदाय के जीवन में सकारात्मक और स्थायी बदलाव आया।

Community-led action for safe drinking water.

With the support of SEWA Madhya Pradesh and the active participation of local communities, long-standing drinking water issues across Indore, Sagar, Bhopal, and Ujjain were addressed through continuous engagement with government departments and local authorities.

These efforts led to the repair of public borewells, restoration of leaking pipelines, new household water connections, emergency tanker supply during summer, and the revival of regular water services.

As a result, more than 450 families now have access to clean and reliable drinking water—demonstrating the power of collective action and community leadership.
