🏆 Celebrating the Spirit of Sports | National Sports Day 🏆

Podar International School, Indore celebrated National Sports Day with a special assembly highlighting the importance of sports in our lives. 🏑⚽🏏

During the assembly, our Sports Captain, Advait Choudhary, spoke about Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary Hockey Wizard, and his remarkable contribution to Indian hockey. He also shared why National Sports Day is celebrated on 29th August—to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand and honour his contribution to Indian sports.

The assembly also highlighted how sports teach us discipline, teamwork, perseverance, leadership and sportsmanship. An inspiring thought on sports reminded everyone that true victory is not just about winning, but about giving your best and never giving up. 🌟

A meaningful celebration that encouraged our students to stay active, play with passion and embrace the true spirit of sports! 💪🏅

Activity - Snowflake colour wheel

Every great artwork begins with understanding colour. ❄️🌈

Our Grade 6 students build colourful snowflake wheels while exploring primary, secondary, and tertiary colours. This hands-on activity helps them make thoughtful colour choices and appreciate the science behind the world of colour theory.

Students of Grades III to VIII at Podar International School, Indore participated enthusiastically in an engaging House Competition centred around the theme of conscious and sustainable fashion. 👕♻️

🌱 Grades III to V – Eco-Brand Builders:
Students unleashed their creativity to create a Conscious Fashion Brand, exploring sustainable ideas and responsible fashion choices.

🎤 Grades VI to VIII – Debate:
Students participated in an insightful debate on “Consumers Can Stop Fast Fashion with Their Choices”, sharing thoughtful perspectives on the impact of consumer choices and fast fashion.

Through creativity, critical thinking, teamwork and meaningful discussions, our young changemakers explored how small, conscious choices can create a big impact on our planet. 🌎💚

computer programme. Our specialised curriculum focuses on real-world safety,

messages.
