Remembering the Fallen heroes of Anglo Manipur war of 1891 , On this day , Yubraj Tikendrajit & Thangal General those brave sons of Manipur who choose death over surrendering the sovereignty of our motherland ( kangleipak ) to the British and laid down their lives gracefully . 13th August observed every year the story of bravery and patriotism of those heroes still keeps on installing love of their motherland upon the hearts of generations of Manipuris .
