It was truly a great honour to have been a part of Abhyudaya Festival 5.0 organized by Subbulakshmi's Nrutyashala on 23rd May 2026.
It was a wonderful experience for our senior disciples to have shared the stage with students of as well as the very inspiring .kumar, who's performance left us all spellbound.

2026 begins on a propitious note with a stage talk called ‘Tatkaar’ at Hyderabad Literary Festival celebrating the life and legacy of our dear Guru Smt Mangala Bhatt ji on 26th January.

It is a panel discussion with noted Kathak exponent and dance scholar, Dr. Arshiya Sethi and Mr. Ashhar Farhan, Trustee, Lamakaan, moderated by Mrinalini Shastry, Entrepreneur and Senior disciple of Guru Mangala Bhatt ji. The session will also include a montage of her performances and archived photographs as well as a performance by Guru Mangala Bhatt’s senior disciples Divya Pathak, Dr. Preeti Krishnan and Harika Andukuri.

You are requested to attend along with your friends and family as the city of Hyderabad pauses to acknowledge Guru Mangala Bhatt’s contribution to Kathak dance as well as to the cultural landscape of the Hyderabad.
