You joined the gym because you want to improve.

So trust the person whose job is to help you get there.

A good coach sees things you often can't see yourself—your movement, your habits, your weaknesses, and the mistakes you keep repeating.

Sometimes your coach will tell you to slow down when you want to go faster.

Sometimes they'll ask you to do something you don't enjoy.

And sometimes they'll tell you that the goal you want isn't the right goal yet.

That's not your coach holding you back.

That's your coach helping you build the foundation you need to move forward.

You don't need to agree with your coach all the time.
But you do need to be willing to listen, learn, and trust the process.
