The Assam team has won a total of 10 medals including 1 gold 5 Silver and 4 bronze on the last day of the KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships 2026 that concluded at Dehradun today.
All Sub Junior girls events were conducted today.
Assam Team has won a total of 26 medals including 7 gold 8 Silver and 11 bronze medals in the four days long National Karate Championships 2026.
The medal holder players of today's tournament are as follows.

GOLD :
1) Diksha Deka (10 years female Kumite+40 kg)

SILVER:
1) Kavya Khetrapal (7 years girls KATA)
2) Nilakshi Hazarika (11 years female Kumite+45 kg)
3) Tanu Thapa (7 years girls Kumite -25 kg)
4) Dharitri Bora (12 years Girls Kumite -35kg)
5) Preet Kaur ( 13 years girls Kumite -50kg)

BRONZE:
1) Priyanshi Changmai (9 years girls Kumite -25 kg)
2) Tripti Biswakarma (10 years girls Kumite -40kg)
3) Aradhya Priyam Hazarika (9 years girls Kumite+35 kg)
4) Sharmim Shifa (11 years girls Kumite -40kg)

Assam Team has won a total of 12 medals including 5 gold, 3 Silver and 4 bronze medals on the 3rd day of the 5th KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships being held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
All the Sub Junior boys event category was conducted today.

Assam Team won two bronze medals on the second day of the 5th KIO Junior National Karate Championships 2026 being held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Madhusmita Daimary has won bronze in Junior female Kumite -66kg while Lohit Ahmed has won bronze in the Junior male Kumite -68kg category.
Assam has won a total of four medals including one gold and three bronze in the Cadet & Junior category in the ongoing National Karate Championships.
The sub Junior events will be held tomorrow and day after tomorrow.
The result is the Cadet & Junior events as follows.

BRONZE:
1) Rish*ta Sharma (Cadet female Kumite -61kg)
2) Madhusmita Daimary (Junior female Kumite -66kg)

Arnab Borah has won Gold in the Cadet male Kumite -70kg category while Rish*ta Sharma has won a bronze medal in the Cadet female Kumite -61kg category category.

The Assam Team Preparation Camp for 5th KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships 2026 that was conducted in three phases in three different Places has been completed this morning with the Kata Preparation Camp.
The Preparation Camp was conducted at Jorhat (15-17 May) at Barpeta (22-24 May) and at Guwahati (22-24 May & 29-31 May) that was conducted by International players Nishad Ali and Hemphu Bongjang.
UKAA hereby wishes all the very best to all players of Assam for the upcoming National Karate to be held at Dehradun Uttarakhand from 4-7 June.

The third phase three days long Assam Team Preparation Camp for 5th KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships 2026 has been started this morning at Guwahati that being Conducted by International player Hemphu Bongjang.
The Camp is conducted for only KATA players of the upcoming National Karate Championships.
Assam Team Tracksuit to al Kata players was distributed by UKAA General Secretary Nagen Bongjang.

The three days long second phase Assam Team Preparation Camp for KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships 2026 has concluded this evening at Guwahati which was organised for selected players from Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Darrang Nagaon, Morigaon, Kamrup Metro,Kamrup Rural and Tamulpur Districts.
The Closing Ceremony was attended by UKAA Working President Mrs Sharmila Deka, General Secretary Nagen Bongjang, Assam team Coaches Prasanta P Saikia, Didit Dekaraja,Hemphu Bongjang and Kiran Biswakarma, Kamrup Metro Karate General Secretary Satyendra Kumar Roy and Joint Secretary Amit Das.
Assam Team Tracksuit was distributed to all players in the closing ceremony of the Camp.

UKAA General Secretary Nagen Bongjang, Vice President Hasmat Ali, Joint Secretary Mun Boro and Assam Team Coach Kiran Biswakarma were attended on the second day of the ongoing Assam Team Preparation Camp for 5th KIO Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championships 2026 yesterday being held at Barpeta.
The Assam Team Tracksuit was distributed to all the selected players of Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Barpeta and Bajali players yesterday and briefed the ongoing Camp and also plan & program regarding the upcoming KIO National Karate Championships 2026 to be held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 4-7 June.
