Story of Nayanar Poosalar

Sadashiva Brahmendra lived in such a profound state of Yoga (Nirkaya) that he had no sense of body or property.

When his arm was severed by a soldier’s sword, he didn't even notice. He just kept walking. It was only when the king and soldiers fell at his feet in realization that he returned to the garden to spend the rest of his life in bliss.

Beside the silence of the Dhyanalinga, a stone panel tells the tale of a King who wore devotion as his truest crown. Meiporul Nayanar did not just rule a city; he lived a life where the symbols of the Divine were more precious than his own breath.
