It is now an official Olympic Sport and is practiced by 60 million people worldwide, making it one of the most, if not the most popular martial art in the world today. The World Taekwondo (WT) is the governing body for Taekwondo, with over 200 member nations. The Kukkiwon is The World Taekwondo Headquarters and the only official organisation authorised to issue Dan (Black Belt) certification. The Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) is the only national governing body for WTF Taekwondo in India. All recognised WTF Taekwondo clubs must be registered with their respective district bodies in affiliation with state association under the banner of TFI. The Leo Sports & Cultural Society was established in 1997 by Master Sudhir Ranjan & Master Harsh Priya Singh. Our program offers to teach you how to recognise and deal with situations in which self-defence may be required. We aim to bring out the positive qualities in our members and help them to develop patience, confidence, self-discipline, inner calm, and a consistently positive mental attitude to overcome fear and self-doubt. To be successful in Taekwondo requires patience, self-discipline, and serious dedicated training. The Leo Sports & Cultural Society offers a carefully planned program teaching effective self-defence, strength development, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and Olympic style fighting techniques, through a combination of mental and physical training.
