I am Coach Rahul Sawant, I have been practicing Martial arts since 1996 and have been teaching and training people in Martial arts and Self-defense since 2009. My goals in martial arts have always been practical combat and survival skills, personal safety, combatives fitness, personal and spiritual growth and development, Individualism, and walking the Martial Path. So, ICS is a by-product or more
of a reflection of my years of training, experience and research, both as a Teacher and Practitioner. Every day, I am learning from my experience and applying those lessons to make my system more and more functional, fluid and tailor-made to suit individual’s need. It is a never-ending process and I thoroughly enjoy it. Through Combatives training, I Coach and train an individual not only in the art of self-defense or combat but also help them to transform their life through Martial Philosophy. What I found as Coach is that people come to train in martial arts or self defense to regain their health and fitness, lost confidence, self-worth, sense of security, to stand up for themselves, to confronting difficult people and situation, to achieve general sense of well-being, health and fitness, and managing personal fears, etc. So, what I teach goes beyond self defense or survival tactics. It is about how to deal with life’s situation and difficulties, while enhancing the individual’s physical, mental and emotional capacity through Combatives training. So, Combatives is just a vehicle for Self-development and improvement. So, give me a chance to transform your life through Combatives philosophy and experience a very rich and fulfilling life.
