APTA EMERGENCY COORDINATION MEETING

Today, Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association (APTA) successfully conducted an Emergency Coordination Meeting under the chairmanship of Shri Bamang Takey, Secretary, APTA, in the presence of APTA Executive Members, Technical Board, and Presidents and General Secretaries of various District Throwball Associations.

The meeting was held at APTA Office, DKIBS, near Raj Bhawan, Itanagar.

The meeting successfully concluded with the following important decisions:

Smt. Bengia Yayang Tadar, Vice Chairperson, Sports Authority of Arunachal, felicitated the Gold Medal winners of the 2nd South Asian Throwball Championship 2026 who represented India with distinction.

The championship was held at Ranchi, Jharkhand, from 17th to 19th June 2026.

The athletes honoured were:

🏅 Mr. Nabam Angu– Gold Medalist
🏅 Miss Hinium Yaniu – Gold Medalist

Congratulating the medal winners, Smt. Bengia Yayang Tadar lauded their dedication, discipline, and outstanding achievement in bringing glory to India and Arunachal Pradesh. She encouraged the athletes to continue striving for excellence and wished them greater success in future national and international competitions.

The felicitation programme was also attended by Shri Gumnya Karbak, Director, Sports Authority of Arunachal, office bearers of the Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association, including the Secretary General, Vice President, and Executive Members. The Presidents and Secretaries of the District Throwball Associations were also present and joined in congratulating the athletes on their remarkable achievement.
