Chhattisgarh | Empowering Youth Through Skills

In Chhattisgarh, Don Bosco Tech is creating pathways to opportunity by equipping young people with industry-relevant skills.

During FY 2025–26, 450 youth were trained across 3 centres and 5 job domains, including Digital Mitra, IT Customer Care, Solar PV Installation, Cloud Computing and Software Development.

A key highlight is the strong participation of women, with 238 female youth trained — 52.9% of the total trainees. 👩‍💻🌱

Through skill development, we continue to empower young women and men to build confidence, careers and brighter futures.

Skills create opportunities. Opportunities create change.

The 2nd Cohort of the Data Centre Academy – Data Centre Operations Management Course, with 41 students enrolled, was launched on 13 August 2026 at the YISU Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

The new cohort builds on the strong outcomes of the previous batch, which saw 17 students graduate, with **10 graduates receiving internship opportunities with Microsoft.

The launch programme brought together students, alumni and representatives from Don Bosco Tech Society, United Way of Hyderabad, YISU/IIIT Hyderabad and Microsoft. Alumni shared their learning experiences, career journeys and practical insights, helping the new batch understand the importance of technical competence, professional behaviour, discipline and continuous learning.

The Data Centre Academy is designed to prepare young people for emerging career opportunities in the growing data centre sector through industry-relevant training, practical exposure and career readiness.

As the second cohort begins its journey, the focus remains on building skills, strengthening industry readiness and creating meaningful pathways to employment.

Reaching Families, Restoring Hope 🤝❤️

In times of crisis, communities come together.

Don Bosco Tech Rangajan, Bosco Institute (BI), Jorhat, Dr. Nobin Bordoloi College and Tezpur University, in coordination with the local administration and Panchayati Raj representatives, led a relief initiative reaching 450 families across seven Gaon Panchayats in the Titabor Revenue Circle, Assam.

With the support of young volunteers, essential relief kits covering food, health, hygiene and sanitation were packed and distributed to families facing critical hardship.

Beyond distributing essential supplies, the initiative highlighted the power of youth volunteering, collaboration and community action in responding to emergencies.

Together, we can turn compassion into action. 💙

🌟 Jharkhand is making strides in skilling and employment!

In FY 2025–26, 1,030 young people stepped into a new journey with Don Bosco Tech—and 813 moved ahead into employment, achieving an impressive 78.9% placement rate. 🎓💼

From Chaibasa to Kokar, Dumka to Ghatshila, our training centres are helping young people gain industry-relevant skills across 5 sectors and 9 job roles.
And there’s more to celebrate—women made up 52.7% of the trainees, showing how skill development can open doors to greater participation and opportunity. 👩‍💻✨
