I’m 35. Here’s the one habit I wish I’d started a decade earlier.
If you’d told 25-year-old me that lifting weights would change my hormones, my energy, and how I aged — I wouldn’t have believed you.
Back then, movement meant cardio. Sweat equalled progress. The scale was the scoreboard.
Nobody told me strength was the real investment.
Here’s what I know now that I wish I’d known then 👇
Muscle isn’t about how you look. It’s about how you age.
Every year, without strength training, your body quietly loses muscle. That loss speeds up metabolism slowdown, weakens bones, and chips away at the independence you’ll want in your 60s, 70s, 80s.
Strength training supports your hormones — it doesn’t punish them.
Unlike constant high-intensity cardio, which can push an already stressed body further into survival mode, lifting builds resilience. It tells your body: we are safe, we are strong, we can handle this.
It’s never too late to start. But earlier is easier.
I didn’t pick up a weight with real intention until my early 30s. I got stronger, yes — but I also spent years rebuilding what I could’ve simply maintained.
If I could go back, I’d tell her: you don’t need to earn rest, and you don’t need to punish your body to prove anything. Just lift. Consistently. Gently increase the challenge. Let your muscles be your long-term insurance policy.
Health was never about perfection. It’s about what you do, again and again, in the ordinary weeks nobody’s watching.

1. Ditch the daily HIIT.
Intense exercise without recovery spikes cortisol, which raises testosterone, slows the thyroid, and drops progesterone. Cap HIIT at once a week — daily walks and strength training do more for your hormones long-term.
2. Use the 90-second rule.
It takes your body 90 seconds to chemically metabolise an emotion. Breathe through it and the cortisol wave passes. Catastrophise, and you re-trigger it — you have a real window to change your hormonal response.
3. Shift from restriction to nourishment.
Your body can’t tell the difference between a diet and a famine. Ask “what can I add?” instead of “what should I remove?” — abundance heals, restriction stresses.
4. Protect your evenings.
Phone away by 9:30pm, dim lights, cool dark room. Blue light delays melatonin by up to 90 minutes — and your body needs that signal to know it’s safe to repair itself.
5. Try somatic shaking.
Feet hip-width, gently bounce your knees for 5 minutes. It sounds strange, but it physically discharges stored stress from the nervous system — stress isn’t just mental, it’s held in the body.
This is exactly what I’ve put into the Hormone Healing Handbook — everything I wish someone had handed me 10 years ago, broken down so you don’t have to spend a decade figuring it out the hard way.
If this sounds like the journey you’re on, I’d love for you to have it. 💛 Comment HANDBOOK to grab it!
One day you’re in your 30s, still eating “clean,” still working out — and your body just… stops responding the way it used to.
More bloating. Less energy. Moods that swing for no reason.
Here’s the truth: your hormones aren’t broken. They’re responding to signals — and once you change the signals, they respond fast. Here’s what worked for me in days, not months:
1. Sunlight before coffee
Cortisol wants to rise naturally at sunrise. Coffee first hijacks that rhythm. 10 minutes of light before caffeine = steadier energy by afternoon.
2. Protein within 30 mins of waking
Stabilizes blood sugar for the whole day. Less blood sugar chaos = calmer cortisol, calmer mood.
3. Walk 10 minutes after meals
Can blunt a blood sugar spike significantly. Less spike = fewer cravings, fewer crashes.
4. Stop fasting past 14 hours
After 30, long fasts read as stress to your body — not discipline. Shortening the window can regulate cycles within weeks.
5. Magnesium before bed
Most women are deficient. It’s the mineral behind hundreds of processes — including how well your body clears excess cortisol.
Your body isn’t asking for more willpower. It’s asking to feel safe again.
If you are women ready to stop guessing and start understanding their bodies.

Hi, I’m Palak, I’m 35 years old, a Functional Nutritionist, Women’s Health Coach and a life coach.
After years of struggling with my own health, I realised something…
Healthy aging isn’t about looking younger.
It’s about having the energy, strength, confidence, and health to actually enjoy your life.
Here are my non-negotiables:
✨ Not all home-cooked food is hormone-friendly. Just because it’s homemade doesn’t automatically mean it’s supporting your hormones or metabolism.
✨ Gut health comes first. If your gut isn’t healthy, your hormones, skin, immunity, and energy will eventually suffer too.
✨ Supplement intelligently. Don’t take supplements because Instagram told you to. Your body needs the right nutrients at the right time.
✨ Clear emotional gunk. Therapy, journaling, dance, crying, breathwork, and allowing yourself to process emotions are all forms of healing.
✨ Have a life outside of relationships. Build hobbies. Follow your passion. Create a flow state. Purpose and joy reduce chronic stress and help lower cortisol.
✨ Lift weights. Muscle is one of the best anti-aging investments you can make. It supports your hormones, metabolism, bones, and longevity.
✨ Protect your energy like your life depends on it. Because in many ways, it does. Learn to say no, set boundaries, and stop giving yourself away to everyone else.
✨ Protein matters—but so does fibre. Most women obsess over protein and completely ignore fibre, even though it’s essential for gut health, blood sugar balance, hormone detoxification, and feeling full.
✨ Sleep is the ultimate anti-aging tool. Recovery is where healing happens.
Your body isn’t asking for perfection.
It’s asking for consistency.
If you’re tired of guessing and want a personalised, science-backed roadmap to heal your hormones, improve your gut health, and finally feel like yourself again…

We may think we’re eating healthy… but that doesn’t always mean we’re getting all the essential nutrients our body needs. 🥑
Take something as simple as avocado toast — a favourite for so many of us. It’s healthy, yes, but with a few simple additions, you can turn it into a more nutrient-dense, balanced and complete meal.
In this video, our Functional Nutritionist, Pooja, breaks down exactly how to do that — without making your meals complicated. ✨
Because healthy eating isn’t just about choosing “healthy foods.”
It’s about understanding what your body needs and how to build a balanced plate.
If you’re finally ready to take charge of your health, build balanced portions, and work on the root causes of your chronic health concerns, our team is ready to help you. 🤍

I am Palak - A functional Nutritionist & I’m 35 and I feel more energetic than in my 20s.
And no…
I don’t diet.
I don’t take 20 supplements.
I don’t do juice cleanses, detoxes, or punish myself with endless cardio.
The truth is, your 30s don’t demand more restriction.
They demand a smarter approach.
These are my 5 non-negotiables that keep my hormones, energy, metabolism, and body thriving.
✨ 1. I prioritize balanced nutrition—not dieting.
Every meal is built around protein, fibre, healthy fats, and whole foods. No food guilt. No starving. No chasing trends. Just nourishing my body consistently.
✨ 2. I clear emotional gunk instead of suppressing it.
Women carry stress in their bodies. I journal, dance, cry, breathe, have difficult conversations, and release what no longer serves me. Healing isn’t just physical.
✨ 3. I strength train. Every single week.
Muscle is one of the best investments you can make after 30. It supports your hormones, metabolism, bone health, confidence, and helps you age powerfully—not gracefully.
✨ 4. I put gut health first.
A healthy gut influences everything—your hormones, skin, mood, digestion, immunity, and ability to lose weight. You can’t build lasting health on a compromised foundation.
✨ 5. I protect my nervous system.
I make time for hobbies, joy, movement, rest, and slowing down. Because your body doesn’t heal when it’s constantly in survival mode.
Your body after 30 isn’t working against you.
It’s asking for a different kind of care.
If you’re tired of doing “everything right” and still struggling with stubborn weight, fatigue, bloating, or hormonal imbalances…
It’s time to stop guessing and start addressing the root cause.
